Speaking

Talks that leave a room with a decision.

Brad speaks the way he advises: direct and warm at the same time, in frameworks, with twenty years of scar tissue behind them. He is at his best in rooms where a decision is on the table: board retreats, leadership intensives, executive forums, and conferences for leaders of faith-driven businesses, nonprofits, and churches.

Keynotes and sessions

Nine talks, one for each season a leader is in.

Every talk is built around a decision the room is already facing. Pick the season, and Brad brings the framework, the scar tissue, and the second-order consequences nobody has said out loud yet.

Vision

The Vision Is Bigger Than the Organization

For the leader whose God-sized vision has outrun the team, the systems, and the cash meant to carry it. The three gaps between vision and reality, and why most advice a leader gets is correct and useless. Keynote.

Growth

Why Growth Stalled and Nobody Can Say Why

For the enterprise that stopped compounding without visibly failing. The quicksand every fast-growing organization hits, the operating rhythms that quietly cap it, and what it costs to get out. Keynote or board session.

Growth

You Are the Bottleneck

For the founder, CEO, or senior pastor who is both the outstanding player and the ceiling. The eighteen-month window, the move from an entrepreneurial to an enterprise operating system, and the personal cost of stepping out of the doorway. Leadership team session.

Enterprise

The Board That Has to Change Shape

For boards and elder teams moving from working board to governance board. Decision rights, the one seat that holds final authority, and the trust problem wearing a structural costume. Board or elder session.

Enterprise

The Team That Got You Here Will Not Get You There

For leaders who know the leadership bench is the constraint. Every hire is a plus-one or a minus-one, the leader who was the best at Level 3 and struggles at Level 5, the catalytic hire, and how to name the clumsy season before it costs you good people. Leadership intensive.

Horizon

The Decision That Shapes the Next Decade

For the executive team facing a campus, a merger, a market, or a building that will outlast their tenure. A ten-year vision, a three-year strategy, a 25-year trajectory, and why the plan is written in pencil. Strategic planning intensive.

Horizon

Capital Is a Promise

For churches and nonprofits weighing a campaign, a reserve, or a funder who wants outcomes. Three-year farming, the stewardship budget that banks a reserve without asking anyone, and the bad math a whole sector was built on. Board session or keynote.

Legacy

Succession Before You Need It

For founders and boards who know a transition is coming and have not said so. Transferring authority without losing the founder, the eighteen-month clock, and the shift from serial entrepreneur to enterprise leader. Board or elder session.

Transition

Leading Through the Change Nobody Asked For

For the leader carrying a merger, a restructure, a founder's exit, or a strategy the organization did not choose. What a doctorate in change management and twenty years of doing it taught Brad: all leadership is moving people from one reality to the next, the barrier is fear rather than information, and grief accompanies every change, even the ones you prayed for. Keynote or leadership intensive.

Brad Hobbs

Keynotes

Thirty to sixty minutes for conferences, executive forums, and networks of faith-driven CEOs, executive directors, and senior pastors.

Board and elder sessions

Half-day and full-day sessions for boards moving from working board to governance board, preparing for a succession, or deciding on a capital campaign or expansion.

Leadership intensives

One to two days with a leadership team, usually built around the Four S's diagnostic and a wet cement session where the strategy is shaped together before it sets.
